ADVANCE -- Funeral service for Edison Leroy Cato of Advance will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Morgan Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Norman Elledge will officiate, with burial in Cato Cemetery near here.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
Cato, 81 years old, died Monday, Jan. 14, 1991, at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born May 15, 1909, at Greenbriar, son of W.G. and Ada Lloyd Cato.
Cato was a retired farmer and timber worker.
Survivors include two brothers, Doyle and Byron Cato of St. Louis; four sisters, Esther Ledbetter of St. Louis, Ethel Kenney of Kansas City, Juanita Hendricks and Maxine Shell of Cape.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
