EDGAR O. PALISCH

ALTENBURG -- Edgar O. Palisch, 85, of Altenburg, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Dec. 20, 1907, at Altenburg, son of Adolph C. and Frieda Jungclaus Palisch. He and Nelda R. Perr were married June 16, 1946.

Palisch was retired from Citizens Electric in Altenburg. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, and VFW Post 4282. He was a former fireman, city councilman, served on the Community Betterment Board and Altenburg Athletic Association.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Allen Palisch of Effingham, Ill., Donald Palisch of Altenburg; a daughter, Karen Lukefahr of Altenburg; two brothers, Elmer Palisch of Altenburg, Herbert Palisch of Jackson; a sister, Alma Bodenschatz of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Immanuel Church. The Rev. Charles Weber will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel from 4-9 p.m. today, and Thursday from 6:30-8 a.m.
