Edgar James Stewart, 82, of Scott City died Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Aug. 3, 1935, in Fairfax, Missouri, to Edgar William and Letha Strickler Stewart.
Edgar was a beekeeper and a member of Icon Computer Users Group.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Stewart of Houston; two sons, Brian Stewart and Greg Stewart of Kansas City, Missouri; two daughters, Lori Frye of Platsmouth, Nebraska, and Julie Michael of Benton, Missouri; and a sister, Pat Scherer of Redmond, Washington.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Matthews Cemetery in Matthews, Missouri, with the Rev. Dennis Lowe officiating.
