PERRYVILLE -- Edgar Brown, 82, of Perryville died Sunday, Dec. 24, 1995, at Fairhavens Christian Home in Decatur, Ill. He was born Sept. 30, 1913, in Perry County, son of John B. and Elizabeth Lucretia Graff Brown. He married Ruth S. Sanders on Feb. 25, 1940. She preceded him in death July 5, 1995...
PERRYVILLE -- Edgar Brown, 82, of Perryville died Sunday, Dec. 24, 1995, at Fairhavens Christian Home in Decatur, Ill.
He was born Sept. 30, 1913, in Perry County, son of John B. and Elizabeth Lucretia Graff Brown.
He married Ruth S. Sanders on Feb. 25, 1940. She preceded him in death July 5, 1995.
He was a retired car inspector from Terminal Railroad. He was a member of Lithium Baptist Church.

He is survived by three daughters, Sandra Hunter of Decatur, Phyllis Hoffman of Royal Palm Beach, Fla., and Carla Lawrence of Poplar Bluff; two sisters, Jessie Greenwell of Minneapolis and Iva Sanders of St. Ann; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Service will be held at Young & Sons Chapel Friday at 11 a.m., with the Revs. Gerold McBride and Stanley Brown officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 6:30 a.m. to time of service Friday.
