PERRYVILLE -- Funeral service for Edgar A. Doering of Perryville will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Jeffrey Lloyd will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5:30 p.m. today.

Doering, 87 years old, died Friday, March 15, 1991, at American Care Center.

He was born Aug. 20, 1903, at Wittenberg, son of Adolf and Anna Richter Doering. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include a brother, Hugo Doering of Altenburg.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
