EAST PRAIRIE -- Carl Edward "Eddie" Ray, 40, of East Prairie died Thursday, Oct. 21, 1999, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. He was born May 29, 1959, at Wyatt, son of Joe and Shirley Bennett Ray. Survivors include a daughter, Tiffany Burton of New Madrid; a son, Brandon Ray of East Prairie; his mother of East Prairie; a brother, Kelly Joe Ray of Cape Girardeau; maternal grandmother, Dovie Bennett of East Prairie; and a grandson...

EAST PRAIRIE -- Carl Edward "Eddie" Ray, 40, of East Prairie died Thursday, Oct. 21, 1999, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born May 29, 1959, at Wyatt, son of Joe and Shirley Bennett Ray.

Survivors include a daughter, Tiffany Burton of New Madrid; a son, Brandon Ray of East Prairie; his mother of East Prairie; a brother, Kelly Joe Ray of Cape Girardeau; maternal grandmother, Dovie Bennett of East Prairie; and a grandson.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 6 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Larry Smith will officiate. Burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
