Eddie Malone

VILLA RIDGE, Ill. -- Eddie Allen Malone, 51, of Villa Ridge passed away suddenly at 7:51 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011, upon arrival at Union County Hospital in Anna, Ill.

He was born Jan. 25, 1960, in Cairo, Ill., son of William Melvin Malone Sr. and Iva May Lee Malone.

Eddie was a salesman with R.C. Auto Sales in East Cape Girardeau, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Malone Sr. in 2000; and father-in-law, James F. Butler in 2009.

Survivors include his wife, Kim Butler Malone; mother, Iva Malone of Villa Ridge; five daughters, Misty Malone of Villa Ridge, Brandy and Victoria Malone of Mounds, Ill., Kara Bagby of Alexandria, Va., Tracie Bone of Villa Ridge; and a son, Paul Bone of Mound; three brothers, Melvin Malone Jr. of Martin, Tenn., Mike Malone of Cookeville, Tenn., Larry Malone of Jonesboro, Ill.; two sisters, Terri Clifford of Villa Ridge, Janet Williams of Jackson; four grandchildren, Isaac and Gabriel Malone, Evan and Zavian Bone; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to service time Wednesday at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Buckles officiating.

Interment will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens at Villa Ridge.
