ADVANCE, Mo. -- Eddie Dean Huffman, 62, of Advance passed away Monday, April 11, 2011, at his home.
He was born April 19, 1948, in Cape Girardeau, son of Loyd and Anna Lois Eaker Huffman. Eddie and Mary-Lyn Fillingham were married April 19, 1997, in Corning, Ark.
Eddie served 20 years in the U.S. Army, and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Steven and Jeffery Huffman of Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.; a daughter, Laura Huffman of Fort Leonard Wood; two brothers, Kenny Huffman of Cape Girardeau, Bruce Huffman of Zalma, Mo.; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.
The funeral will be at 9:45 a.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Webster Eaker officiating.
Burial will be in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with full military rites.
