EDDIE H. RUESLER

JACKSON -- Eddie H. Ruesler, of Oak Ridge, died at Southeast Missouri Hospital Friday, Dec. 18, 1992.

He was born Jan. 26, 1911, at Sedgewickville, son of Henry and Margaret Hart Ruesler.

He was married Dec. 19, 1934, to Gertie Surface. She preceded him in death June 4, 1978.

He is survived by a son, Jerry Ruesler, Oak Ridge; a daughter, Mildred Ruesler, St. Louis; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister and two half sisters.

He was a member of the Old Salem United Methodist Church.

He worked for the Cape Girardeau County Highway Department 30 years, retiring in the 1970s.

Service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Cracraft-Miller Chapel, with the Rev. Michael Woods officiating. Burial will be in Old Salem Cemetery.
