EDDIE B. SIPP ELLIS

EAST PRAIRIE -- Eddie B. Sipp Ellis, 71, of East Prairie, died Saturday, July 4, 1992 at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born June 3, 1921, the daughter of William and Mae Tuturle Hayden.

She was a member of the Full Gospel Church of East Prairie.

On Sept. 19, 1936, she married Jake Sipp. He preceded her in death on May 2, 1985. She married Gene Ellis on Jan. 21, 1987. He preceded her in death on Jan. 26, 1990.

Survivors are four sons, Bobby J. Sipp of St. Louis, Bruce Sipp of Bonne Terre, Eddie Sipp of East Prairie and Ricky Sipp of Fredericktown; two daughters, Margie J. Zook of Benton, Ill. and Jackie A. Wamble of St. Peters; one brother, Jack Hayden of Detriot, Mich.; two sisters, Bessie Smithson of Cunningham, Ky. and Zora Thomure of East Prairie; 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Three sisters, one brother, one grandson and four great grandchildren preceded her in death.

Friends may call today after 6:30 p.m. at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Revs. Burl Britt and Mike Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery.
