SIKESTON, Mo. -- Earline Dickson, 97, of Sikeston died Thursday, April 7, 2005, at Miner Nursing Center. She was born Oct. 7, 1907, in Brownsville, Texas, daughter of James Pickens and Annie Perry Jones. She and Robert J. Dickson were married Nov. 28, 1926, in Sikeston. He died Dec. 1, 1994...

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Earline Dickson, 97, of Sikeston died Thursday, April 7, 2005, at Miner Nursing Center.

She was born Oct. 7, 1907, in Brownsville, Texas, daughter of James Pickens and Annie Perry Jones. She and Robert J. Dickson were married Nov. 28, 1926, in Sikeston. He died Dec. 1, 1994.

Dickson had been a salesclerk at Graber's and Knights department stores in Sikeston. She was a member of Shady Acres Church of Christ.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Littleton and Ramona Kyle of Sikeston; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, six brothers, and two sisters.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with Pat Hogan officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
