SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Earl W. Robey of Sikeston will be held at 1 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Revs. Don Russell and David Webb will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 10:30 a.m.
Robey, 82, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Dec. 28, 1911, in Bloomfield, son of Sam William and Ollie Harper Robey. He and Lucille L. Heaton were married April 2, 1938, in Charleston.
Robey had worked for W.S. McMullin Construction Co.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Melvin Robey of Sikeston; two daughters, Mildred Poyner and Wanda Robey of Sikeston; a brother, Gene Harper of Morehosue; 10 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grnadchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, two sisters and a great-grandson.
