SCOTT CITY -- Funeral service for Earl Venson of Ft. Collins, Colo., formerly of Scott City, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Assembly of God Church. The Rev. Larie Burdine will officiate, with burial in Lightner Cemetery.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home here after 6 p.m. today.
Venson, 52 years old, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 1990, at his home.
He was born March 31, 1938, at Charleston, son of Robert and Annie Lynn Venson.
He was an assembler at the Rehabilitation Center in Ft. Collins, and was a member of the Assembly of God Church here.
Survivors include a brother, Raymond Venson of Meramec; four sisters, Ethel Wright and Ercie Van-Pool of Peoria, Ill., Mildred Purcell of New Bloomfield, and Evelyn Banks of Ft. Collins.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
