MILLERSVILLE -- Funeral service for Earl T. Mouser of Millersville will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. The Rev. Otto Steinhaus will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today. An Elks service will be held at 7 and Masonic service at 7:30.

Mouser, 66, died Tuesday, Jan. 10, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Oct. 13, 1928, at Millersville, son of Willie D. and Reda Runnels Mouser. He and Wanda Mae Slinkard were married Oct. 2, 1948.

Mouser worked at Jackson Hosiery Mill 23 years. He later worked 12 years at Lee-Rowan, retiring in 1991.

He was a member of New McKendree United Methodist Church, Elks Lodge 2652, American Legion Post 158, VFW Post 10495, all in Jackson, and the Masonic Lodge at Millersville. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Brian and Bruce Mouser of Jackson; five brothers, W.D. Mouser of Ballwin, Vernon Mouser of Jackson, Jerry Mouser of Effingham, Ill., Larry Mouser of Jonesboro, Ark., Milton Mouser of Millersville; a sister, Lois Niemann of Gordonville, and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son and sister.
