PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Earl W. Ramsey, 95, of Perryville died Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2002, at PerryOaks Manor. He was born June 11, 1907, in Corning, Ark., son of Willis and Louise Hathaway Ramsey. He and Gertrude Mabel Clifton were married Feb. 14, 1937. She died Nov. 21, 1992...

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Earl W. Ramsey, 95, of Perryville died Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2002, at PerryOaks Manor.

He was born June 11, 1907, in Corning, Ark., son of Willis and Louise Hathaway Ramsey. He and Gertrude Mabel Clifton were married Feb. 14, 1937. She died Nov. 21, 1992.

Ramsey retired as track foreman with Missouri Pacific Railroad. He was a member of York Chapel Methodist Church near Longtown, Mo., and Masonic Lodge 670 AF&AM in Perryville.

Survivors include a daughter, Melba Cookston of Affton, Mo.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, and Saturday after 6:30 a.m.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jerry Willer officiating. Burial will be in York Chapel Cemetery.
