Earl J. Kesler of Cape Girardeau died Monday, July 23, 2001, at the Lutheran Home.
He was the son of Calvin and Flora Beggs Kesler. He married Wilma Penrod, who died Jan. 21, 1999.
Employed by the U.S. government 32 years, he was a real estate purchaser for the Civil Engineering Department. He was a member of First Baptist Church and Noon Optimist Club.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Louise Felts of Cape Girardeau, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a son, a brother, and two sisters.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The Rev. Andy Pratt and the Rev. Mike Shupert will officiate. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery at Dongola, Ill.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church.
