Earl J. Brock Sr., 77, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, March 10, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. He was born Dec. 8, 1922, at St. Louis, son of James and Johanne Marie Fobian Brock Sr. He had owned and operated Brock Asphalt Co. of Brentwood for 15 years...

Earl J. Brock Sr., 77, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, March 10, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born Dec. 8, 1922, at St. Louis, son of James and Johanne Marie Fobian Brock Sr. He had owned and operated Brock Asphalt Co. of Brentwood for 15 years.

He served in the Army during World War II.

Survivors include one son, Earl J. Brock Jr. of Marble Hill; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son and two brothers.

No services are scheduled. Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
