MARBLE HILL -- Earl Granville Kennison, 76, of St. Charles, died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 1993, at Jefferson Barracks VA Medical Center in St. Louis County. MARBLE HILL -- Earl Granville Kennison, 76, of St. Charles, died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 1993, at Jefferson Barracks VA Medical Center in St. Louis County.

He was born Feb. 6, 1916, at Zalma, son of Emanuel and Francis Sullivan Kinnison.

Kennison was a retired shipping clerk with Guth Electric Co. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include three sons, Richard and Bryan Kennison of St. Charles, Marty Kennison of House Springs; two daughters, Renee Kennison of St. Charles, Joan Skaggs of Florissant; two brothers, Jesse Kinnison of St. Charles, Paul Kinnison of West Alton; three sisters, Bernice Kinnison of St. Louis, Bonnie Smothers of St. Clair, Cleo Hargrave of Puxico, and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Liley Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. The Rev. Gene Robbins will officiate, with burial in Ellington City Cemetery at Ellington.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 9 a.m. Saturday.
