EARL BROTHERTON

PATTON -- Earl William Brotherton, 85, of Patton died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 1999, at Jackson Manor Nursing Home in Jackson.

He was born Aug. 10, 1914, at Patton, son of Pink and Rella Seabaugh Brotherton. He and Emma Long were married Nov. 11, 1933. She died Oct. 18, 1989.

Brotherton had farmed, and was a member of Post Oak Methodist Church.

Survivors include two brothers, Cecil Brotherton of Jackson, John Brotherton of Patton; three sisters, Daisy Hahs of St. Louis, Elsie Long of Patton, and Helen Cook of Cape Girardeau.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Patton from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Revs. Julius Mills and Eddie Long will officiate. Burial will be in Post Oak Cemetery.
