E. Wayne Morrow, 53, of Cape Girardeau, died Saturday, Oct. 16, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born May 2, 1940, at Cape Girardeau, son of Earl and Bernice Whittaker Morrow.

He married Barbara Aug, Jan. 9, 1960, at Cape Girardeau.

He founded Morrow Upholstery in 1964 in Jackson. In 1979, he moved the business to Fruitland. In 1989, Morrow changed the business name to Marco Karting Threads.

Morrow was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson since 1964.

He had served in the Missouri National Guard.

Morrow coached the sixth and eighth grade boys' basketball teams at the Immaculate Conception Catholic School from 1982-1988.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Jason Morrow of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Cindy Morey of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Kay Finch of Jefferson City, Mo.; and a grandson.

A memorial mass will be at 10 a.m. today at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson.

Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. Parish prayers will be at 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the McCombs Funeral Home, with Msgr. Edward Eftink officiating.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
