Dylan Pobst

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Dylan Michael Pobst, 26, died Monday, April 9, 2018, in Bollinger County, Missouri.

He was born Sept. 29, 1991, in Cape Girardeau to Mike Pobst Jr. of Chaffee, Missouri, and Janet Sallee Pobst Warren of Scott City.

Dylan was a member of Morley (Missouri) Church of God and worked as a heavy equipment operator for Little River Drainage District.

He and A. Kali Mills Pobst married Oct. 8, 2016, in Morley. She survives of the home.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by a son, Colton Michael Pobst of the home; a daughter, Emma Lynne Pobst of the home; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lacie and Dylan McAlister of Commerce, Missouri, and Wanda and Jonathan Payne of Kennett, Missouri; and maternal grandmother, Claude Anne Phillip of Oran, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Mike Pobst Sr. and Wanda Pobst; maternal grandfather, Charles Sallee; and a cousin, Austin Todt.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, where a funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, with he Rev. Larry Jackson, pastor of Morley Church of God, officiating. Burial will follow at the Forest Hills Cemetery near Morley.
