Dwight John Kinsey, 68, of Centralia, Ill., died Tuesday, April 9, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Feb. 9, 1928, in Centralia, son of Ernest Gilmore and Conway Ruth "Connie" Hoyt Kinsey. He and Harriet Louise Bierman were married Oct. 28, 1951, in Centralia.
Kinsey was an installer with Western Electric 31 years, retiring in 1983. He was a member of First United Presbyterian Church and Masonic Lodge 201 AF&AM, both in Centralia. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Richard Kinsey of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Deborah Roundy of Clawson, Utah; a twin brother, Duane Kinsey of McClure, Ill., and two grandchildren.
Friends may call at Irvin Funeral Home in Centralia from 5-8 p.m. today, and at First United Presbyterian Church after noon Saturday. Masonic service will be held at 7 tonight and commandery service at 7:15.
Funeral service will be at the church at 2 p.m. Saturday, with Dr. Edwin Evans officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, with military rites by Centralia VFW Post 2055 and American Legion Post 446.
