PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Dwight D. Deimund, 52, formerly of Perryville, died Monday, Oct. 1, 2001, in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.
He was born Jan. 4, 1949, in Cape Girardeau, son of Oscar and Alma Sadler Deimund.
Deimund was a truck driver with North American Van Lines. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his mother, Alma Dippold of Perryville; three sisters, Carol Kaufmann and Diana Nations of Perryville, Cynthia Nash of Salem, Mo.; two stepbrothers, Allen Dippold of Perryville, Gerald Dippold of Sedgewickville, Mo.; two stepsisters, Rebecca Camp of Tucson, Ariz., and Sue Eskesen of Hendersonville, Tenn.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Friday, and 6:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church. The Rev. Craig Otto will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery, with military rites provided by American Legion Post 133.
