BENTON — Duel Dewayne Flanigan Jr., son of Mable Finney Flanigan of Oran and the late Duel Dewayne Flanigan Sr., was born Feb. 28, 1971, in St. Louis and departed his life Saturday, March 16, 2024, at his home in Benton at the age of 53 years.
He was a former employee with Armor Lite Trailer Manufacturing and most recently worked construction in the Scott County area. Dewayne was a member of the National Guard and Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Oran.
He was united in marriage to Debbie Klipfel on July 27, 1991, in Morley. She survives of the home in Benton.
Besides his wife, survivors include one son, Dalton (Morgan) Flanigan of Wappapello; two daughters, Dikota (Josh) Ruedrich of Scott City and Makaila Flanigan of Benton; three grandchildren, Jaxon, Zaxton and Porter; and other relatives and many friends.
Besides his father, Dwayne was preceded in death by two sisters, Kim Chesteen and Cathy Flanigan.
Visitation was held Tuesday, March 19, at Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Oran.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, at the church, with the Rev. Larry Gammons officiating. Interment will follow in Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
