Drusilla L. "Dru" Laurentius, 60, of Jackson, passed away Thursday, Nov. 25, 2021, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born April 3, 1961, in Cape Girardeau, to William and Wilma Petzoldt Stone. She and Gary Laurentius were married May 9, 1987, at New McKendree United Methodist Church in Jackson.

Dru was a 1979 graduate of Cape Central High School. She was an active member of New McKendree United Methodist Church in Jackson. She enjoyed reading her Bible and volunteering at the food bank and Feed My Starving Children.

She also enjoyed bowling at Jackson Lanes with the Tuesday Morning Coffee Drinkers League, going to the movies, finding treasures at yard sales, and above all, spending time with her family.

Loving survivors include her husband of 34 years, Gary Laurentius of Jackson; three children, Gary Laurentius Jr., Joey Laurentius and Ashley (Dylan Kaminskey) Laurentius, all of Jackson; a granddaughter, Chloe Laurentius; her parents, William and Wilma Stone of Cape Girardeau; and four siblings, Judy (Mike) Harrison and Diana Fox of Jackson, Bill (Shelly) Stone of Fruitland, and Mike (Pam) Stone of Burfordville.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson and from 9 a.m. to service time Wednesday at New McKendree United Methodist Church in Jackson. The funeral is at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with the Rev. Bryan Wendling officiating. Interment will follow at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to New McKendree United Methodist Church.
