Funeral for Dr. James A. Kinder will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Centenary United Methodist Church. The Rev. Dr. Clayton Smith will officiate.
Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.
Kinder, 82, a longtime pediatrician, died Saturday, July 1, 2000, following a car accident in Cartersville, Ga.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Hunter Kinder of Cape Girardeau; four sons, Sen. Peter Kinder of Cape Girardeau, James Kinder of Cairo, Ill., Frank Kinder of Southlake, Texas, and Maj. Mark Kinder of Keesler Air Force Base in Mississippi; a sister, Mary Helen Flentge of Cape Girardeau; and nine grandchildren.
