POPLAR BLUFF -- Dr. Glynda Davis-Maxam, 48, of Poplar Bluff died Saturday, March 27, 1999, at her home.
She was born Feb. 13, 1951, in Pontiac, Mich., daughter of Carl and Bernice Davis Maxam.
Davis-Maxam was a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Medicine at Columbia. She was completing her residency at Rush Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago when she became disabled.
Survivors include her mother of Malden; a brother, Carl Maxam Jr. of Charlotte, Mich.; three sisters, Joan Johnson of Marlette, Mich., Gail Kaspar of Mayville, Mich., and Roberta Rodgers of Phoenix, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by her father.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Rainey Funeral Home in Bernie. The Rev. Willie Schanda will officiate.
