DOYLE VINCENT

DONGOLA, Ill. -- Doyle Vincent, 83, of Dongola died Sunday, Feb. 25, 2001, at Union County Hospital in Anna, Ill.

He was born Nov. 13, 1917, in Anna, son of Ernest E. and Zula McCommons Vincent. He and Gladys Campbell were married Feb. 19, 1938.

Vincent was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dongola. He was retired from the Florsheim Shoe Co.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Nancy Blackburn of Louisville, Ky.; and two sisters, Elaine Miller and Ernestine Calvin, both of Phoenix, Ariz.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at the Crain Funeral Home in Dongola.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Paul Sadler will officiate, with burial in the American Legion Cemetery in Dongola.
