DOYLE MCKINLEY

Doyle McKinley, 69, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, April 21, 1997, at his home.

He was born July 31, 1927, in Advance, son of Harry and Ada Dixon McKinley. He and Mary Sonsoucie were married May 3, 1963, in Collinsville, Ill.

McKinley was employed 37 years by Cotton Belt Railroad. He was a member of the Baptist Church in Okawville, Ill. He served in the U.S. Navy durng World War II.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Michael McKinley of Detroit, Mich., Gene McKinley of Carlyle, Ill., Bill Burrough of Venedy, Ill.; six daughters, Janet Roelle of Grand Blanc, Mich., Vicki Cook of Belleville, Ill., Tenney Tegtmeier of Collinsville, Kathy Lake of Okawville, Angela McKinley of Cape Girardeau, Julie Bateman of Carmel Valley, Calif.

Also surviving are three brothers, John McKinley of Dexter, Carl McKinley of Winston, Tom McKinley of Mt. Clemens, Mich.; four sisters, Mildred Willis of Advance, Faye Looney of Parkville, Bess McFerron of Park Hills, Jessie Cato of Zalma; and 22 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ray Placher officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park at Advance.
