DOYLE FRANCIS

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Doyle Robert Francis, 80, of Advance died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2000, at his home.

He was born Sept. 28, 1920, in Cape Girardeau County, son of David and Lillie Murry Francis. He and Annie Lund were married Aug. 24, 1946, at Grassy, Mo.

Francis was a 1941 graduate of Advance High School. He was a farmer and member of First General Baptist Church.

He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Robert Francis of Butler, Mo.; three daughters, Marcia Rainey of Auxvasse, Mo., Pam Clayton of Northport, Ala., Debbie Moen of Jefferson City, Mo.; two brothers, Lloyd Francis of Advance, Cletus Francis of Scott City, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a grandson.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. Friday.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Mike Grant, Wayne Page and Robert Francis officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
