CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Doye F. Gadberry, 71, of Chaffee died Sunday, Oct. 9, 2005, at his home.
He was born Aug. 31, 1934, in Mount Vernon, Ark., son of Alfred and Isabelle McNich Gadberry. He and Claudia Freeman were married Nov. 15, 1952, at Morley, Mo.
Gadberry was a self-employed carpenter and worked in maintenance at Scott County Central School District.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Rick Gadberry of Chaffee, Danny Gadberry of Lebanon, Ohio, Keith Gadberry of Sikeston, Mo.; two daughters, Debbie Glastetter and Michelle Perkins of Chaffee; two brothers, Michael Gadberry of Sikeston, Billy Gadberry of Morley; four sisters, Sharon Ward of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Sue Marchbank, Barbara Grubb and Thelma Smith, all of Van Buren, Mo.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, two sisters and a granddaughter.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 10:30 a.m. to service time Wednesday.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley.
