ANNA, Ill. -- Funeral for Dovie Lacy of Anna will be held at 2 p.m. today at Crain Funeral Home in Anna. The Rev. Larry Shacklee will officiate.

Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home until time of service.

Lacy, 93, died Saturday, June 30, 2001, at St. James Hospital in Pontiac, Ill.

She was born Jan. 9, 1908, in Anna, daughter of Robert and Sarah Poe Williams. She and William Ambrose Lacy were married Oct. 10, 1926. He died Nov. 13, 1973.

Lacy was head of the food service program at Anna Junior High School 27 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Bill Lacy of Conway, Ark.; a daughter, Norma Clutts of Pontiac; a sister, Lillian Whitnel of Montgomery, Ill.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, and nine brothers and sisters.
