PUXICO -- Dovie Dochnal, 91, of St. Louis died Sunday, Jan. 11, 1998, at Pacific Care Center in Pacific. She was born Dec. 24, 1906, near Puxico, daughter of Robert and Josephine Swan. She and Joseph Dochnal Jr. were married July 5, 1941, in Puxico. He died Aug. 28, 1977...

PUXICO -- Dovie Dochnal, 91, of St. Louis died Sunday, Jan. 11, 1998, at Pacific Care Center in Pacific.

She was born Dec. 24, 1906, near Puxico, daughter of Robert and Josephine Swan. She and Joseph Dochnal Jr. were married July 5, 1941, in Puxico. He died Aug. 28, 1977.

Formerly of Puxico, she had lived in St. Louis since 1928. She was a seamstress many years.

Survivors include a daughter, Isa Laury of Wentzville; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Puxico Cemetery, with the Rev. Wiley McGhee officiating.

Watkins and Sons Funeral Home at Puxico is in charge of arrangements.
