ADVANCE -- Private memorial service for Douglas N. Roe of Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada, will be held today at Morgan Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Virgil Bunch will officiate, with burial in Morgan Memorial Park.
Roe, 81, died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 1995, at his home.
He was born Oct. 9, 1914, in Texas, son of Needam and Ella Roe. He and Lucy Allen were married in August 1938. She died in April 1981. He later married Mavis Greenwood.
Roe was a retired mechanical engineer.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Douglas Roe of Advance; a daughter, Lucy Cook of Waldo, Ill.; four stepchildren; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and eight stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
