PATTON, Mo. -- Douglas Aslinger, 44, of Patton died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2005, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. He was born Oct. 19, 1961, in St. Louis, son of Harold and Shirley Korecky Aslinger. Aslinger was a 1980 graduate of Meadow Heights High School. PATTON, Mo. -- Douglas Aslinger, 44, of Patton died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2005, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born Oct. 19, 1961, in St. Louis, son of Harold and Shirley Korecky Aslinger.

Aslinger was a 1980 graduate of Meadow Heights High School. He was a self-employed off-shore marine diesel technician, and attended Union Light Church near Marquand, Mo.

Survivors include a daughter, Stephanie Aslinger of Patton; his parents of Patton; two stepdaughters, Carol Allee and Hallie Stuve of Corpus Christi, Texas; a brother, Gene "Poss" Aslinger of Patton; two sisters, Sheila Rehkop and Diana Brewington of Fredericktown, Mo.

Friends may call at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown from 5 to 9 p.m. today, and Saturday from 10 a.m. to service time at Union Light Church.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Union Light Cemetery.
