SIKESTON -- Dorris May Lett, 78, of Sikeston died Sunday, June 13, 1999, at her home.
She was born Sept. 9, 1920, in Columbus, Ky., daughter of William D. and Mamie Oleta Coaker Moore. She and John Lett were married June 12, 1952, in Charleston. He died June 15, 1992.
Lett had been a seamstress at Caprico Inc., and had also done private sewing in her home. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, John Lett, address unknown; a brother, J.D. Moore of Sikeston; three sisters, Wilma Oliver of Memphis, Tenn., Martha Foster of Vanduser, and Margaret Roberts of Shelly, Idaho.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at the chapel at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. Dr. Jim Guffie will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
