ANNA, Ill. -- Dorothy Y. Williams, 70, of Anna died Friday, Jan. 7, 2005, at her home. She was born July 5, 1934, in Anna, daughter of George and Ruby Brown Lacy. She and Richard Dean Williams were married Dec. 25, 1953, in Anna. Williams retired from First National Bank of Jonesboro. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, past member of Teen Town Board in Anna, and had been active in PTA and other school activities...

ANNA, Ill. -- Dorothy Y. Williams, 70, of Anna died Friday, Jan. 7, 2005, at her home.

She was born July 5, 1934, in Anna, daughter of George and Ruby Brown Lacy. She and Richard Dean Williams were married Dec. 25, 1953, in Anna.

Williams retired from First National Bank of Jonesboro. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, past member of Teen Town Board in Anna, and had been active in PTA and other school activities.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Tracey Williams of Anna; two sons, Todd Williams of Anna, Scott Williams of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Patti Shuler of Fort Collins, Colo.; a brother, Jerry Lacy of Martin, Tenn.; and three grandchildren.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna after 6 p.m. Sunday.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Al Campbell and Todd Williams officiating. Burial will be in Anna City Cemetery.
