BLOOMFIELD -- Dorothy Spradling, 69, died Sunday, Dec. 29, 1996, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 5, 1927, in Catron, the daughter of Emmett and Bertha Plummer. In 1946, she married James Edward Spradling. He died July 11, 1994.
Spradling was a hair stylist and nurse's aide.
Survivors include a son, Tony Spradling of Bloomfield; four daughters, Sharon Robinett, Louanna Houchin, Darlene Smith and Juanita Hays, all of Bloomfield; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. today at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dean Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
