DOROTHY R. HOPE

Dorothy Ruth Hope, 84, 3120 Independence, died Tuesday, March 28, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born March 16, 1911, in the Rockhill community, daughter of L.J. and Connie Hansel Stewart. She and Paul Harold Hope were married July 25, 1938.

Hope was valedictorian of the 1929 class of the former Fruitland High School. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Paula Badger of St. Louis; a sister, Ava McDowell of Fruitland, and two granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by a brother and sister.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Revs. Charles Dreyer and Ed Brasington officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
