PERKINS, Mo. -- Dorothy Jean Phegley, 74, of Perkins died Monday, July 9, 2007, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 21, 1932, in Advance, Mo., daughter of Rosewell and Mona Mae Sitce Bess. She and Billy Leon Phegley were married May 14, 1949.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Michael Phegley of Flint, Mich.; a daughter, Linda Warner of Grand Blanc, Mich.; a brother, Earl Bess of Cape Girardeau; five sisters, Vera Mason of Sikeston, Mo., Coline McCarma of Xenia, Ill., Wanda Rayles of Kokomo, Ind., Barbara Hoosier of Dexter, Mo., Glenda Seagraves of Rector, Ark.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Visitation is after 6 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, Mo.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Eric Schrum officiating. Burial will be in Williams Cemetery at Perkins.
