ADVANCE, Mo. -- Dorothy M. Norman, 83, of Advance passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015, at a daughter's home in Delta.
She was born March 28, 1932, at Marston, Missouri, daughter of Jessie and Rose Ethel Sullivan Masters.
Dorothy and Bryant Norman were married Nov. 1, 1948, in Piggott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death April 19, 2013.
Dorothy had worked at Inland Shoe Factory in Advance 20 years. She was of the Baptist belief.
Survivors include a son, Bryant Norman Jr. of Jackson; four daughters, Doris Evans of Maryland Heights, Missouri, Kay Smith of Hillsboro, Missouri, Brenda Leadbetter of Grassy, Missouri, and Lori Malone of Delta; a brother, Ray Masters of Godfrey, Illinois; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and three brothers.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Revs. Elijah Allen and Jim Evans officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
