Dorothy M. Miller, 89, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2008, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Sept. 19, 1918, in Pleasant Green, Mo., daughter of Henry O. and Leona Schuster Meyer. She married Lewis Gene Miller, who died in 1993.
Miller had been a secretary. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Church and its Ladies Council in Cape Girardeau, member of VFW Auxiliary and member and past president of the park board in Lee's Summit, Mo.
Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn Peters of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Eva Bence of St. Louis, Martha Day of Eagan, Minn.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Church, with the Rev. David Hulshof officiating. Burial will be in Annunciation Catholic Cemetery in California, Mo.
