Dorothy Mae Kirkpatrick
MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Dorothy Mae Kirkpatrick, 69, of Marble Hill died Friday, Jan. 23, 2009, at Elder Care of Marble Hill.
She was born Jan. 23, 1940, at Mayfield, Mo., daughter of Marion Bennett and Ruby Louvenia Hale Welker. She and George William "Willie" Kirkpatrick were married May 19, 1961, at Marquand. He died Oct. 26, 2008.
Dorothy had worked for Thorngate and Paramount Hat Factory as a sewing machine operator and was a member of the Hurricane Fork General Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, William DeWayne Kirkpatrick of Glenallen, Mo.; two daughters, Deborah Seabaugh and Linda Baker, both of Marble Hill; a sister, Velda Virginia Robins of Collierville, Tenn.; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Nathan Huffman and Dewayne Kirkpatrick officiating. Burial will be in Hurricane Fork Cemetery near Marble Hill.
