ANNISTON -- Funeral service for Dorothy Mae Knupp Kemp of Anniston will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel in East Prairie. The Rev. Amos Johnson will officiate, with burial in Anniston Cemetery.

Kemp, 56, died Sunday, May 28, 1995, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, following an extended illness.

She was born Sept. 5, 1938, at Charleston, daughter of Jack and Ola Mae Minks Coleman.

Survivors include a son, Kenneth Knupp of Anniston; three daughters, Melodie Allan of Brownwood, Rhonda and Tammy Achter of Anniston; five brothers, Jerry Coleman of Navasota, Texas, Kenneth, J.R. and Jackie Coleman of Houston, Texas, Donnie Coleman of Natchitoches, La.; two sisters, Loyce Speer of Houston, Judy Herman of Austin, Texas, and 13 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, grandson and sister.
