ANNA, Ill. -- Funeral for Dorothy Lynn of Anna will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Crain Funeral Home in Anna. Dave Soucie will officiate. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today.

Lynn, 75, died Sunday, May 27, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 2, 1925, in Anna, daughter of Arvel J. and Blanche I. Hill Dougherty. She and Johnny Lynn were married March 13, 1944.

Lynn was a member of First Christian Church, sang in the choir, was a member of Agape Circle, and taught primary Sunday School class 45 years. She was a volunteer many years at Shawnee Christian Nursing Center.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Jean Craig of Anna; a sister, Athalie Grillo of Burlingame, Calif.; a brother, Noel Dougherty of Warrensburg, Mo.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.
