ULLIN, Ill. -- Dorothy I. Lingle, 86, of Ullin died Wednesday, April 25, 2001, at Daystar Care Center in Cairo, Ill.
She was born May 27, 1914, in Mounds, Ill., daughter of Fred and Nellie Hall Boren. She married Joseph Lingle, who died July 9, 1967.
Lingle was a retired seamstress, and had worked at P.N. Hirsch Co. in Mounds. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Mounds.
Survivors include a daughter, Birdie Tucker of Pulaski, Ill.; a son, Bobbie Lingle of Edwardsville, Ill.; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Friends may call at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge, Ill., after 10 a.m. Saturday.
Funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Wiley Godfrey officiating. Burial will be in Beechwood Cemetery at Mounds.
