Dorothy L. Nance, 67, 2822 Lear, died Friday, Oct. 13, 1995, at her home.
She was born April 3, 1928, in Bollinger County, daughter of Frank and Minnie Cook Hanners. She first married Woodrow Price. She later married Ernest Nance Aug. 12, 1983. He died in November 1994.
Nance was a member of the Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Jean Mantz and Sandy Mayberry of Cape Girardeau, Sherry Vance of Joplin, LaVonda Casey of Millersville; four sons, Billy Price, John, Richard and Jeff Browne of Cape Girardeau; a brother, John Hanners of Barlow, Ky.; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and three stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters.
Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, and after 9 a.m. Monday.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Steven Sander officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
