ADVANCE -- Funeral service for Dorothy Lee Masters of Advance will be held at 1 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel. The Revs. Virgil Bunch and Ronnie Mosier will officiate, with burial in Morgan Memorial Park.
Masters, 83, died Saturday, July 16, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Feb. 11, 1911, in Williamsville, daughter of John and Martha Cowan Mosier. She and the Rev. Henry Masters were married Dec. 23, 1945, in Jonesboro, Ark. He died Jan. 21, 1992.
Survivors include two sons, Rodney Absheer of St. Charles, Ernie Absheer of Boonville; a stepson, Harold Masters of Advance; four stepdaughters, Colleen Jordan of Huntsville, Ala., Patty McClure of Wentzville, Joan Masters of Florida, Henrietta Boyd of Warrenton; three brothers, Vere and Dewitt Mosier of Williamsville, Woody Mosier of Florida; two sisters, Daisy Hooper of Arkansas, Opal Freese of Williamsville; 20 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
