JACKSON -- Dorothy L. Langston, 69, of Jackson, died Sunday, June 5, 1994, at the Jackson Manor.
She was born Aug. 3, 1924, at Cape Girardeau, daughter of Edward C. and Amanda Borchelt Gerlach.
She married Glen R. Langston, Feb. 12, 1945, at Cape Girardeau. He died Jan. 16, 1982.
Langston worked as a dormitory maid at Southeast Missouri State University, until retiring in 1980.
She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau. Langston moved to Jackson from Cape Girardeau in 1989.
Survivors include a son, Charles L. Langston of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Beverly J. Meyer of Oak Ridge, Sherry Holloway of Jackson; a brother, Harold Gerlach of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Salma McClard of Orofino, Idaho; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at the Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Steven MacDougall officiating.
Burial will follow in Lorimier Cemetery.
