Dorothy Lillian Goodwin, 86, of Cape Girardeau, died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was born Dec. 21, 1908, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Louis J. and Hermine Kempe Pott. She and Van B. Goodwin were married June 30, 1927. He died in 1969...

Dorothy Lillian Goodwin, 86, of Cape Girardeau, died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Dec. 21, 1908, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Louis J. and Hermine Kempe Pott. She and Van B. Goodwin were married June 30, 1927. He died in 1969.

Goodwin was employed many years in the registrar's office at Southeast Missouri State University. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include a son, Fred B. Goodwin of Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-7 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Charles Dreyer officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
